I've got a place to live, but it leaves me with a month and no housing coverage -- Laura would like me out *now*, and is willing to deal with the end of *this* month, and the house-share deal would begin September first. Is there anyone reading this in Oregon with a room to rent for August?

Three didn'ts, and a did.

Didn'ts: I didn't spend any time job-hunting today, I didn't practice my banjo, and I only got nine pages of reading done, when I was expecting more like 60. But this is because I spent most of the time on my bike, getting to and from apartments to look at. And then took another living situation that includes none of 'em. 48 miles, says Google Maps.

I don't think I want to do that again any time soon.
