Day Seven

Oct. 11th, 2011 07:53 am
I'm at Laura's, and so the morning routine got punted. I'm reading up on the American Occupation, specifically http://www.americablog.com/2011/10/occupywallstreet-is-lesson-on-listening.html, http://politics.slashdot.org/story/11/10/10/182248/ask-slashdot-how-do-you-view-the-wall-street-protests, http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/06/opinion/occupied-wall-street-seen-from-abroad.html?_r=1, http://www.truth-out.org/elizabeth-warren-refuting-straw-liberals/1318266005, and http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/08/05/1003695/-30-Years-Ago-Today:-The-Day-the-Middle-Class-Died?via=user, and wondering "Why aren't I there?" Occupy Portland is only a two-day ride away.

Instead, I have some paperwork I need to get done this morning, a bike co-op meeting this evening, and a flat to fix, for which I need to carry my tire down to the bike co-op, or buy a bottle of tire-cement from Dan when he opens his shop in an hour.

I'll append more thoughts as they occur.
