I've written one, intended for adoption by Oregon Occupy:
“To create as much human joy and alleviate as much involuntary human suffering as possible, and to expand the definition of humanity as far as we can stretch it.”
But *first*, I have to explain why it's a good idea to have a central organizing principle in the first place. Which with me is a classic water-to-fish problem, with the added issue that I've actually studied it and there are volumes worth of material to cover. But I don't have volumes, I have a maximum of 300 words to state my case.
And a garage to clean. Sometimes distractions are good, though here I have to deal also with Miranda's Dad's stuff. He's dead; he won't care. And it all looks like stuff Goodwill rejected -- but there's no telling what's of Sentimental Value to *somebody*.
If anyone has any hints on the creeds problem, I'd be delighted to hear 'em.
