According to FedEx, I should be receiving the battery for my laptop on Saturday. I'll hope for Monday, but that's still much better progress than I *had* been making.

I spent 45 minutes on Laura's phone with CREDO about getting a warranty replacement for my own phone. After that, she took her phone with her on her way to work, still continuing the call; by that time, they'd lost their own notes at least 3x during the call. I've talked with Level One customer support, Level Two customer support, and Warranty Replacement, and the call is continuing. It's a typical user-hostile environment, no better or worse than anybody else's in that industry, the inevitable result of an unrestrained capitalist system, which I am neither correcting nor replacing this morning. But, with luck, I might get a working phone out of the effort.

And I have a major post in the works based on inputs from Jay Lake and TwistedChick, but that's not done yet -- I needed to use my journal as a journal, first. And need to work on the BHT and the resume keyword harvest today also. And breakfast. Breakfast would be a good idea.
Got the Bike House Trailer floorboards cut to shape, sanded, and painted on one side. Got the phone issue theoretically resolved; if the vendor follows through I'll have a new phone in the mailbox sometime early next week. And a new battery for this laptop, also; different vendor. Ordered a book on Agile/Scrum program management. Planned how to have a mainstream job and not go nuts -- not immediately, at any rate.

Tomorrow, need to go to the pharmacy and refill 4 of my 5 daily meds. And paint the floorboards on the other side. And write letters to Evelyn and to Sam. And go through about 150 job ads to harvest for keywords.
